HELP

1- Q: The animation did not rotate in the direction as I wanted.
A1: When interpolation is done a joint takes the shortest path of rotation. A joint may rotate in the opposite direction if rotation between two frames is equal to or greater than 180 degrees. Avoid making rotation greater than 180 degrees between two frames.
A2: Sometimes the SL animation system will "over-optimize" by dropping key pieces of an animation. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict this occurrence. Be sure to preview an animation before uploading. An animation may be altered to fix the problem and has to be approached on a case-by-case basis.

2- Q: Why do I see pose or size data in the menus when trying to load a notecard?
A: The format in the notecard must be a Name/Description and the next line must be the pose data. Look for any extra lines in the file and remove them.

3- Q: When I use the U-Poser HUD why doesn't the Mannequin respond?
A: Ensure the HUD channel is set to the same channel as the Mannequin. Refer to OPTIONS >> COMMUNICATION CHANNELS and OPTIONS >> MANNEQUIN >> CHANNELS.

4- Q: Why won't the HUD listen to the choices I make? It keeps displaying "timing out".
A: Refer to OPTIONS >> COMMUNICATION CHANNELS.

5- Q: No matter what I do I cannot get the HUD and the Mannequin to work together.
A: Make sure you are on land which allows scripts. As a last resort wear the HUD and right click and select EDIT. At the top of the SL viewer choose Build>>Scripts>>Reset Scripts. Select the Mannequin and do the same. Detach and re-attach the HUD to reset them both to their default settings.

6- Q: When I rez the HUD in-world I receive the message "HUD is Disabled".
A: Take it back into your inventory and wear it on a HUD attachment point. The HUD will work again once it is worn.

7- Q: I received the message "...Script run-time error Stack-Heap Collision..."
A: Please copy the error messages you receive and paste to a new notecard in your inventory. Provide as much detail as possible including the file you were working on when the problem occurred. Send it to Gearsawe Stonecutter in SL.
